A Bittersweet Poem

I don't want to charm you,
For it's useless than it seems,
I don't want to charm you,
For how worthy can I be.

For He loves you more,
More than I could ever give,
For He loves you more,
More than anything I bring.

There is no jealousy here,
But utter admiration,
For He can give and love,
For your very own salvation.

For I could drive a hundred miles,
But He can go way beyond,
To love and care for you,
Like a child of His own.

So the greatest gift,
That I could ever give,
Is to bring you closer to God,
Ever so gently and lovingly.
